Tim was introduced to Christ by his parents, and as a child, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and later became a commissioned officer. God used Tim's Air Force career as a catalyst for his professional development, academic achievement, and, most importantly, spiritual growth. The Air Force is also where Tim developed a passion for serving and helping others.
One of his Air Force assignments moved him to the Montgomery, Alabama, area, where he joined a local church. During this time, he went on a mission trip to the Czech Republic, and after returning, he felt God’s call to the ministry. In obedience to that call, in 2005, he was licensed and ordained in the Gospel ministry and enrolled in seminary. The Air Force eventually moved him again, and he performed his military duties while simultaneously serving as the youth pastor at Trinity Baptist in Vacaville, California. Another assignment led him to Kleine Brogel, Belgium, where no full-time, English-speaking pastor existed. Realizing God had given him another opportunity to minister, he became the unit chaplain. In 2011, he traded his combat boots for full-time ministry. Since retiring from the Air Force, he has served as Associate Pastor at Thelma Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL, and he currently serves as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Reeltown, and he has been there since 2015.
God ordained Tim's story and brought him to this place as a pastoral counselor. His graduate-level education and time as an Air Force Officer, Youth Pastor, Chaplain, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor have uniquely equipped him to provide pastoral counseling. He loves this work, has been called to it, and has been equipped for it.
